    Gangtok: In a gesture acknowledging the invaluable contributions of workers, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang extended warm greetings to the state’s people on International Labour Day. Recognizing the significance of the day, Tamang emphasized the dignity of labour and underscored the pivotal role played by every individual in the societal advancement of Sikkim. 

    International Labour Day, celebrated annually on May 1st, reminds us of the tireless efforts and sacrifices made by the workforce worldwide. It is a day dedicated to honouring the achievements of workers and their role in shaping economies and societies. 

    In his message, Chief Minister Tamang expressed profound appreciation for the diligent workforce of Sikkim, acknowledging their unwavering dedication and commitment. He highlighted their efforts as the driving force behind the state’s progress and prosperity, emphasizing their crucial role in building a brighter future for Sikkim. 

    “The propitious occasion of International Labour Day provides us with an opportunity to reflect on the invaluable contributions of our diligent workforce,” stated Chief Minister Tamang. “Their tireless dedication and hard work are instrumental in propelling the state towards greater heights of development and prosperity.” 

    Tamang’s message resonated with the ethos of inclusivity and recognition of labour’s significance in societal growth. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring the welfare and empowerment of workers across various sectors.
