Actress Disha Patani, known for her love for animals, has partnered with the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Centre (ECCC) in Mathura. Disha, a vocal advocate for elephant welfare, aims to provide essential care to elephants rescued from abusive working conditions.
Disha, who frequently spends time with her own pets and helps strays, recently visited the ECC for two days. During her visit, she volunteered by chopping fruits and vegetables to ensure the elephants receive proper nutrition.
“This has been one of the most special days of my life,” Disha shared about her experience. “Witnessing the care provided by the Wildlife SOS team and the harmful effects of elephant rides has been eye-opening. I encourage everyone to volunteer at the ECC and join the fight to protect India’s elephants.”
Disha’s upcoming projects include ‘Project K,’ ‘Yodha,’ and a film co-starring South Indian superstar Surya.
